HUD Financing


Hermes Healthcare Advisors provides HUD-insured financing for the healthcare industry. We specifically work with acute-care hospitals in need of construction or rehabilitation financing due to Seismic retrofit laws that affect many California healthcare companies.
 

Hermes provides a structured Project Finance model for financially challenged hospitals that allows to strengthen their balance sheet, whether rated or non rated, improve credit rating and obtain the financing they need.
 

Hermes working with hospital administrators can oversee the project to drive the program to a successful conclusion. Our financing program allows up to 90% financing with a 25-year low fixed-rate, non-recourse loan term.
 

The company can also provide interim financing as a bridge to HUD financing for situations that require a more timely funding than the HUD program can offer. Hermes can also work with hospitals in securing non-HUD financing when appropriate, such as for LTACs and specialty hospitals.
 

Along with these services, Hermes Healthcare Advisors can consider acting as a principal in hospital transactions, focusing on the real estate component of the hospital. The company also provides debt and equity financing, in addition to sale-leaseback transactions.
